Catherine + Shaun: Edmonton Wedding Photographer

I am so behind on blogging and the 2012 wedding season is just around the corner so I must get my last weddings of 2011 up.

Catherine and Shawn’s wedding was so much fun…especially when you combine a lego loving groom and a book obsessed bride. The details in their wedding were so original from the little lego figurines as gifts for the guests to books scattered everywhere at the reception. I remember telling myself if my husband looks at me the way that Shawn looks at Catherine I am a very lucky women. He adores Catherine and it had me smiling all day. Thanks you two for such a fun day with you and your bridal party.

Shauna + Sanjay: Edmonton Engagement Photographer

This was my first engagement session in 2012 and I was super excited for this shoot. Shauna and Sanjay are so adorable and I can’t wait for their wedding, which is just a month away. We walked around downtown and got some super cute urban shots for these two. It was a bit cold this day so I planned to sneak into a Second Cup to warm up and get some pictures of these two drinking hot chocolate. Check out the one I got with whip cream on their lips…so much fun!

Manu+Anish: Edmonton Wedding Photographer (Part 2)

This is the second half of Manu and Anish’s wedding. Manu had some hair complications and things ran way behind schedule but my second shooter, Kim and I worked like mad to make sure these two had everything they wanted. Even though we had to do the quickest formal session known to man, this group was full of smiles the entire time. It is times like these that make me realize again and again how much love my job and it definitely helps when I work with such amazing couples, just like these two. Enjoy!

Manu+Anish: Edmonton Wedding Photography

This is Part 1 of this beautiful Indian wedding. I photographed Manu and Anish’s wedding back in September and it was an amazing day full of love, laughs, and silliness. Manu and Anish like to have tons of fun and Anish and his buddies had me laughing all day long. I felt like I was with friends which made this day go by so quickly even though it was one of the longest wedding days ever! The ceremony was full of tons of laughs between the two of them. It actually reminded me a lot of my wedding ceremony. I laughed a lot and smiled the entire time. These two did just that and it made me grin from ear to ear. Manu’s shoes were one of my favorites from the 2011 wedding season…leopard print and a red/gold wedding sari go perfectly together! Part two coming soon!

Wow, so beautiful, it doesn’t matter where you come from, weddings are always beautiful events.

Emma + Derek: Edmonton Wedding Photographer

Emma and Derek got married on a hot day in August at Robertson-Wesley United Church. I had such a great day with them and all their friends and family. Emma’s dress was gorgeous and so were all the details of their wedding…you could tell that this wedding was planned very carefully. It was hot but we got LEMONADE! There was a boy selling lemonade in the park so we all get to have a nice break and cool down. Watching these two was like watching two people that have known each other for years and you can’t help but smiling when these two look at each other. They are amazing.
